The carried over Super Hi-5 was hit in the first race at Gulfstream on Wednesday and it paid $3,302.30 for the minimum $1 bet.
Crazy About Jazz, the 2-5 favorite, won the five furlong turf race on the course listed as good.
The carryover coming in was $5,429.31. Bettors added $9,489 to the Super Hi-5.
A key to the high payoff was 51-1 shot I'm a Curious Lady, a first-time starter, finishing fourth. She had the highest odds in the eight-horse field.

Crazy About Jazz won in 57.99 seconds in the $46,000 maiden special weight race for fillies and mares 4-YO and up. Javier Castellano rode the winner for trainer Christophe Clement.
