Gulfstream Park Racing Wednesday; 12:10 PM Post

 

Gulfstream Park racing plans a 9 race program Wednesday, as it moves to a 5 day live racing week January 10th. Post time is 12:10 PM, with a last race at 4:10 PM. No stakes races are planned. This 5 day racing schedule will - like past years - no doubt continue through March 30th, the Florida Derby day.

The 4th through 9th races are the Rainbow 6 races Wednesday, starting at approximately 1:40 PM. The carryover Wednesday on this bet will be $177,544.  Gulfstream has a $250,000 minimum guarantee on the pool is wagering does not reach that amount.

In last Sunday's Racing, the Rainbow 6 paid just $143.60 to about 550 bettors. The six scratches increased the winners due to the 4 off-the-turf races and .

The winning program numbers on the Rainbow 6 (last 6 races) was: 8-3-3/4/6/10-1/7/8-1-4/10. The betting pool was $143,091.

Total all-sources track handle was $7.76 million Monday.

Gulfstream Saturday Racing; 11 Races, 12:10 PM Post

Gulfstream Park has an 11-race card Saturday, January 6th.

First post is at 12:10 p.m. at the Hallandale Beach, Fla. track. There's a 30-60% chance of rain during the race day and the high odds win on the day was 7:1 in the sixth race. That made for a $1,813.84 payout of the Rainbow 6 wager to about 26 bettors.

Race 6 kicks off the Rainbow 6 wager Saturday at about 2:33 PM with a carryover of $96,929.

The winning Rainbow 6 program #'s Friday were: 1-6-1-3-3-4/8/9.

Total all-sources track handle was $5.70 million Friday.
