Sire Stakes Racing Saturday at Gulfstream Park, 12:25 PM Post

 

Gulfstream Park has an 11-race card Saturday. First post is at 12:25 PM.

Two Sire Stakes races are on the program: My Dear Girl, 1-1/16 miles on the dirt track for 2 y/o fillies with a $400,000 purse. That's race 8 at approx. 3:57 PM. 

The 10th race is the In Reality Stakes, also $400,000 at the same distance, for 2 y/o colts and geldings starting at approximately 5:00 PM.

In Friday's 9 races, 2 bettors were paid $21,167.76 each on the Rainbow 6 win. Just 1 favorite won in the Rainbow races and on the entire card, with K.C. Chief the long-odds win at 11:1 in race 7.

Forty-nine horses ran in the Rainbow 6. The Late Pick 4 paid $1,102.35 to about 54 winners, while the Late Pick 5 paid $6,194.90 to about 13 winners. The Rainbow 6 carryover Friday will be $410,521. We expect $1 million or more be bet Saturday, as that wager will mandatory-payout the entire carryover + Saturday wagers regardless of the number of winners.

Total all-sources track handle was $4.18 million Saturday.
Friday's purse size was $239,000 under clear and fast track conditions.

Friday's Gulfstream Racing; 2 Carryovers

 

Gulfstream plans a 9 race Friday, with a 12:25 PM post time. It will be race day #82 in this meet. Last call to the gate is 4:30 PM.

No stakes races are on the card.

The Rainbow 6 carryover is $392,377 and starts in race 4 near 1:55 PM.
Gulfstream is setting a $550,000 guarantee pool if a single winner hits the Rainbow 6 Friday. The Super High 5 wager has a carryover of $4,808 Friday as well.

In last Sunday’s racing action, just 3 winners collected $23,836.08 each on the $0.20 Rainbow 6 wager. This is the highest payout on a non-mandatory payout day since July 8th.

The long-odds winner Sunday was Arete’s Chaline at 30:1 winning the last race (11) by 2-1/2 lengths. Favorite Adios Babe finished 4th. Five favorites won on the day, the first 5 races !

The Late Pick 4 and Late Pick 5 paid handsome sums of $3,178 and $22,984 respectively. We estimate 21 winners on the Late pick 4 and four winners of the late Pick 5. A rather strange wagering and payout day for sure.

Sunday's Gulfstream; 2 Carryovers, 12:25 First Post


Gulfstream Park has a 11-race card Sunday. First post is at 12:25 PM. Last post is near 5:33 PM.

No stakes races are on the card. The 6th through 11th races are the Rainbow 6 races, starting at approximately 1:50 PM, just like Saturday's schedule. The carryover there is $361,731. October 2 is the last day the last day of this Royal Palm Meet that commenced back in April. We reported prior that the meet ends September 25th in error. Gulfstream is offering a $500,000 guaranteed gross pool Sunday if one winner takes down the Rainbow 6 wager.

In Saturday's 11 races, 292 bettors were paid $255.18 each on the Rainbow 6 win. Five favorites won in the Rainbow races, making it fairly easy to win this wager. There were 8 favorite wins on the race day also, a high-mark that's not seen much. Lights of Broadway (2.3:1) won the Armed Forces Stakes by a neck over Cheerful Charlie (7:1).

The high odds win was Chasing Joy at 3.8:1 in race 9. When the high-odds win of the day is below 4:1, you know the payouts will be small. The Super High-5 wager will have a carryover Sunday of $2,358 in race 1 if there are 7 or more starters; entries list 9 starters as of Saturday night.

Forty-eight horses ran in the last 6 races.

Saturday; Armed Forces Stakes at Gulfstream 12:25 PM Post Time

 

Gulfstream Park has an 11-race card Saturday. First post is at 12:25 PM.

One stakes race is on the program: Armed Forces Stakes, 1 mile, 70 yards on the All-Weather track for 2 y/o's with a $65,000 purse. Lights of Broadway is the 3:1 favorite in the 8 horse field. That's race 10 at appox. 5:01 PM.  The 6th through 11th races are the Rainbow 6 races, starting at approximately 2:58 PM. The carryover there is $329,826. Gulfstream has not announced a guaranteed gross pool as of Friday night.

In Friday's 9 races, 540 bettors were paid a miserly $85.88 each on the Rainbow 6 win. Four favorites won in the Rainbow races, with Conceptus the long-odds at 6.4:1 win in race 4.

Forty-nine horses ran in the Rainbow 6. The Late Pick 4 paid about what a burger combo for two would cost; $15.25, while the Late Pick 5 paid $23.20. Our data shows over 3,300 winners collected on both those wagers.

Friday's Gulfstream Racing; 2 Carryovers

 

Gulfstream plans a 9 race Friday, with a 12:25 PM post time. It will be race day #79 in this meet that ends Sunday the 25th. Last call to the gate is 4:30 PM. We expect Gulfstream to announce a mandatory payout on the Rainbow 6 for either Saturday or Sunday's race-day.

No stakes races are on the card.

The Rainbow 6 carryover is $309,977 and starts in race 4 near 1:55 PM.
Gulfstream is setting a $450,000 guarantee pool if a single winner hits the Rainbow 6 today. The Super High 5 wager has a carryover of $4,094 Friday as well.

In last Sunday's racing action, 4 winners collected $12,567.32 each on the $0.20 Rainbow 6 wager. This is the highest payout since the last jackpot was hit August 13th.

The long-odds winner Sunday was Funtastica at 25:1 winning the last race (9) by 3/4 lengths. Just one favorite won on the day, race 7 under rainy and sloppy conditions from the first race.

The Late Pick 4 and Late Pick 5 paid respectable sums of $628 and $1300 respectively.

In Saturday's 11 races, 8 bettors were paid $7,660.72 each on the Rainbow 6 win. Two favorites won in the Rainbow races 6-11. Interestingly, the first 5 races on the day saw 53:1 and 66:1 winners, resulting in the early Pick 5 paying $97,288. That's rarely seen. The late Pick 5 paid $1,718.

Forty-nine horses ran in the last 6 races.

One stakes race is on the program: Our Dear Peggy Stakes, 1 mile, 70 yards on the All-Weather track; 2 y/o fillies with a $65,000 purse. Born Dapper is the 5:2 favorite, ahead of Blind Spot (3:10). That's race 9 at appox. 4:30 PM.  The 6th through 11th races are the Rainbow 6 races, starting at approximately 2:53 PM. The carryover there is $263,969. Gulfstream is putting up a $400,000 guaranteed pool size if one winner hits the Rainbow wager.

In Friday's 9 races, 32 bettors were paid $1,203.26 each on the Rainbow 6 win. Two favorites won in the Rainbow races, with Bluefield the 5:1 odds win in race 8.

Just 41 horses ran in the Rainbow 6. The Late Pick 4 paid $190.20, while the Late Pick 5 paid $1063.15.

Total all-sources track handle was $3.63 million Saturday.
Friday's purse size was $357,000 under cloudy and fast track conditions.

No stakes races are on the card. The 4th through 9th races are the Rainbow 6 races, starting at approximately 2:02 PM. The carryover there is $227,668.

In Saturday's 11 races, 37 bettors were paid $1,864.72 each on the Rainbow 6 win. Two favorites won in the Rainbow races 6-11, with Wicked Finn,  13:1 odds win in race 10. The Sheer Drama stakes race winner was Maryquitecontrary at 9:5 by a neck. Morning Line favorite Don't Get Khozy finished third.

Fifty seven horses ran in the Rainbow 6. The Late Pick 4 paid $432.10 to about 144 winners, while the Late Pick 5 paid $2,767 to about 29 winners.

Total all-sources track handle was $5.45 million Saturday, the lowest Saturday handle the current meet that began in April.

Sheer Drama Stakes; 12:25 PM Post Time at Gulfstream Park

 

Gulfstream Park has an 11-race card scheduled for Saturday. First post is near 12:25 PM. One Stakes race is planned in race 9: The Sheer Drama; Florida Bred Fillies and Mares, 3 y/o and up. It’ll be on the dirt at 7 furlongs. Don’t Get Khozy is the 3:1 favorite in the 4:55 PM start. Purse: $65,000.

The Rainbow 6 wager is the sole carryover Saturday at $197,987. Gulfstream is putting a $300,000 guarantee pool up if one winner takes the Rainbow 6 jackpot today.



 

The Rainbow 6 wager paid $9,419.44 in Friday’s racing action to 6 bettors. Three favorites won in the Rainbow sequence, 2 winners at 16:1 and 14:1 odds. The late Pick-4 paid $3,282, the late Pick-5 paid $6,897.

Gulfstream plans a 9 race Friday, with a 12:25 PM post time. It will be race day #73 in this meet that ends September 25th. There was no racing on Labor Day this year. The last Labor Day racing was in 2020 as the Kentucky Derby was run two days prior with the pandemic delays. 2019's holiday races were cancelled due to Hurricane Dorian.

No stakes races are on the card.

The Rainbow 6 carryover is $173,765 and starts in race 4 near 2:03 PM. Gulfstream is setting a $250,000 guarantee pool if a single winner hits the Rainbow 6 today.

In last Sunday's racing action, 10 winners collected $4,605.14 each on the Rainbow 6 wager.

Two long-odds winners at 5:1 was the challenge on the day.

Gulfstream plans a 9 race Friday, with a 12:25 PM post time. The twi-light racing has ended with the 2:45 PM Friday starts as we enter the late Summer. The current meet ends September 25th.

No stakes races are on the card; last post will be near 4:43 PM.

The Rainbow 6 carryover is $118,786 and starts in race 4 near 2:03 PM. Gulfstream is setting a $200,000 guarantee pool if a single winner hits the Rainbow 6 today.

In last Sunday's (8/28) racing action, 9 winners collected $5,868.16 each on the Rainbow.

The long-odds winner was Divine Encounter (15.7:1) winning by a neck in Race 10. Favorite Bullet on Tap finished 3rd.

The Late Pick 4 and Late Pick 5 paid large to a few lucky bettors. Our data from Equibase shows 20 winners of the Pick 4 at $2,985, and 13 Pick 5 winners at $8,918. The program winners the last 6 races were: 5/6-6-4-2-5-3.

Mounsieur Coco won the Proud Man Stakes in race 6 by 4-1/2 lenghts as the race favorite.

 A $200,000 guaranteed gross pool is offered by Gulfstream Friday if a single jackpot winner is found.
