Gulfstream
plans a 9 race Friday, with a 12:25 PM post time. It will be race day
#73 in this meet that ends September 25th. There was no racing on Labor
Day this year. The last Labor Day racing was in 2020 as the Kentucky
Derby was run two days prior with the pandemic delays. 2019's holiday
races were cancelled due to Hurricane Dorian.
No stakes races are on the card.
The Rainbow 6 carryover is $173,765 and starts in race 4 near 2:03 PM. Gulfstream is setting a $250,000 guarantee pool if a single winner hits the Rainbow 6 today.
In last Sunday's racing action, 10 winners collected $4,605.14 each on the Rainbow 6 wager.
Two long-odds winners at 5:1 was the challenge on the day.
The Late Pick 4 and Late Pick 5 paid $244 and $1,090 respectively.
All sources track handle was $4.41 million Sunday.
