That ticket would take down the Rainbow 6 jackpot, which is made up of the entire carryover plus 80 percent of the day's new bet.

On Sunday, $196,324 was bet on the Rainbow 6. Following its rules for days with multiple winning tickets, Gulfstream took out 20 percent of that bet. It then divided 56 percent among the tickets with six winners and added 24 percent to the carryover.

One Live Rainbow 6 Ticket as Last Race Approaches

That ticket has one live horse Power (4).

Program numbers of winning horses thus far are 8-7-6-7-6.

Horses at double-digit odds won the first three races in the Rainbow 6.

That sets up the prospect of one ticket taking down the Rainbow 6 jackpot pool,  and the prospect of a big payoff or a big carryover on the Late Pick 5,

On a 50 cent minimum bet on the Pick 3 for races five to seven, the payoff was $19,847.30.

Bettors wagered $124,284 on the Late Pick 5m which had no carryover. It is 50 cents per-combination minimum bet.

Gulfstream: The Week Ahead

Gulfstream Park's next live race day will be this Friday Aug 13, with nine races and first post of 2:00 p.m.

As it continues its spring/summer meet's regular schedule, Gulfstream in Hallandale Beach, Fla., also will have racing this Saturday and Sunday.

Gulfstream is guaranteeing that Friday's Rainbow 6 pool will be at least $200,000 if there is just one ticket with the winners of all six Rainbow 6 races.

In that case, Gulfstream would need to put in some money if the combination of the carryover and the day's new Rainbow 6 bet is less than $200,000.

A single ticket winner would take down the Rainbow 6 jackpot--made up of the entire coming-in carryover plus 80 percent of the new Rainbow 6 bet (20 percent takeout).

When there are multiple tickets with six winners, Gulfstream takes out 20 percent of the day's  bet and then divides 56 percent among winning tickets and adds 24 percent to the carryover.

The Gulfstream condition book shows two stakes races--both on Saturday.

The $75,000 Benny the Bull Stakes will be seven furlongs on dirt for Florida-breds who are 3-YO and up.
