Gulfstream Park has a 10-race card New Year's Day, January 1st.
First post is at 12:10 p.m. in Hallandale Beach, Fla, continuing the Champion's Meet that started December 1st.
There are two stakes races Sunday; the Cash Run and the Mucho Macho Man. Both
are $100,000 one-mile runs on the dirt for 3 year-olds. The Cash Run is
for fillies, and the Mucho Macho Man is for mixed-sexes.
The Sunday Abudantia Stakes and Janus Stakes were won by Stone Silent (4.7:1) and Panther Island (8:1)
Three
favorites won on the day, two in the last 6 races made for higher
payouts. A couple Super High 5 wagers paid over high sums: $9,888 in race 5 and $13,968 in race 10.
The Rainbow 6 jackpot paid out $3,586.90 to about 15 winners. The wager attracted $105,853 in bets Sunday.

The winning Rainbow 6 program #'s Sunday were: 6-1-1/3/8-8-1-5.
Total all-sources track handle was $8.59 million Sunday.
