Gulfstream Park plans a 9-race card Sunday, October 22nd.
No stakes races are listed on the card.
The Rainbow 6 wager paid a miserly $228.92
to about 2,500 winners Saturday. The 5 wins by the post time favorites
in the last 6 races increased the ‘live’ tickets going into the last
race. Just race#9 was the outlier when Octane
won the race at 6:1 odds. Also, viewing the Rainbow 6 program numbers
below, six scratches meant more ticketholders were eligible for the
winning wager.
The Late Pick 4 and Pick 5 paid small sums also; $60 and $222 respectively.
So the Sunday Rainbow carryover is reset to zero. Race 4 will start the Rainbow 6 sequence Sunday at approximately 2:20 p.m.
Total all-sources track handle was $7.31 million Saturday, of which $634,000 was bet on the Rainbow 6.
