by HorseRacing FLA staff

Gulfstream Park has an 10-race card Saturday, Octber 7th.
First post is at 12:50 PM in Hallandale Beach, Fla.

One stakes race is planned, along with an Invitational. The Miss Gracie will feature 3 y/o fillies running 1 mile, 70 yds. on the All-Weather track. It's a $75,000 purse in race 8 with a 4:17 PM post time. Race 9 is the Princess Rooney Invitational, 7 furlongs on dirt for 3 y/o and up filles and mares. A $200,000 purse awaits the winners. Approximately a 4:50 PM post time.

The 5th race kicks off the  Rainbow 6 wager at about 2:50 PM with a carryover Saturday of $0.

On Friday, one lucky bettor took down the jackpot with 6 of 6 paying  $213,992. Just 2 races were won by favorites in the last 6 races. The wins by St. Pat's Day (18:1) in race 4 and  Saint No More (11:1) in race 6 was enough to hamper all but one bettor! It was the 13th race day without a Rainbow 6 winner.

The winning Rainbow 6 program #'s: 2/3-2-5-2-3-1. Both the Early and Late Pick 4 and Pick 5 paid handsome sums also: $5,766 and $5,293 on the P4's and $15,150 and $31,242 on the P5's.

The Super High 5 wager will also carry over Saturday, at $912.

It'll most likely be in race 1 with 9 starters listed. The wager is available every race with 7 or more starters.

Total all-sources track handle was $2.62 million Friday.
Good Luck!
