No stakes races are listed on the card.
Sixty-nine starters are listing on the schedule, with 47 in the last 6 races for the 12:50 PM post time.

The Rainbow 6 wager paid a miserly $640.20 to about 50 winners Saturday. A huge eight races were won by the favorites Saturday. Cantaro won race 6 at 13:1 odds, the outlier in the Rainbow 6 wager. The five scratches meant more ticketholders were eligible for this winning wager.

The Late Pick 4 and Pick 5 paid small sums also; near $60 each.

So the Sunday Rainbow carryover adds up to $30,388. Race 4 will start the Rainbow 6 sequence Sunday at approximately 2:20 p.m.

The Super High 5 wager carry's over also today with a $2,872 tally. That bet needs 7 or more starters. The first 3 races are listed as 7 starters, so be mindful of that in your wagering.

Saturday's Gulfstream; 11 Races at 12:50 PM Post

by HorseRacing FLA staff

Gulfstream Park has an 11-race card Saturday, October 28th.
First post is at 12:50 PM in Hallandale Beach, Fla. No stakes races are on the card today.

Race 6 kicks off the Rainbow 6 wager at about 3:20 PM with a carryover Saturday of $15,764. Recall that the jackpot was hit October 21st, which reset the carryover. Gulfstream is offering a $50,000 guaranteed gross pool today if the betting does not reach that amount. The wagering tends to rise with the carryover, reaching a crescendo when the mandatory payout day is announced.

On Friday, 3 lucky bettors in the Rainbow bet took down $4,480.36. Interestingly, no race-time favorites won, but all favorites were 'in-the-money' except Performing Arts (2:1) which finished last in race 6. Uncle Armando got the win at 7:1 odds. We count just 6 racing days this year that no favorites won their race.

The winning Rainbow 6 program #'s: 7-3-2-4-10-8.

Total all-sources track handle was $2.72 million Friday.
Good Luck!

The Late Pick 4 and Pick 5 paid small sums also; $60 and $222 respectively.

So the Sunday Rainbow carryover is reset to zero. Race 4 will start the Rainbow 6 sequence Sunday at approximately 2:20 p.m.
