Gulfstream Park has an 8-race card Wednesday, March 1st.

First post is at 12:10 PM.
Gulfstream races Wednesday through Sunday at the Hallandale Beach, Fla. track with 12:10 PM Post Times except some Holiday and Stakes variations.

No stakes races are on the Wednesday card. The 3rd through 8th races are the Rainbow 6 races, starting at approximately 1:08 PM. There's a $1.024 million Rainbow 6 carryover on the day.

On the last live racing day, Sunday, Feb. 26, about 110 winners of the Rainbow 6 collected $3,730.42 each. Just two favorites won in the last 6 races, while the high odds winner in that sequence was 13:1 when Regal Realm won race 9. Mona Stella was the favorite finishing 3rd. It will be day 21 in this carryover cycle without a single winner.

There are 52 starters listed to run in the Rainbow 6 races Wednesday; perhaps 45-48 with scratches. Could this be the day for the Monster Payoff?

We are guessing that Gulfstream will announce a mandatory payout this weekend, as they have in the past when the carryover stood near $1 million.

Total all-sources track handle was $12.1 million Sunday, along with a $517,000 purse size.
