Gulfstream Park's next live race day will be this Friday Aug 13, with nine races and first post of 2:00 p.m.
As it continues its spring/summer meet's regular schedule, Gulfstream in Hallandale Beach, Fla., also will have racing this Saturday and Sunday.
Friday's first race has a Super Hi-5 carryover of $3,597.
The Rainbow 6 carryover, now three race days old, is $100,851.
The 20 cents per combination-only bet will be on races four to nine with the sequence scheduled to start at 3:40 p.m.
Gulfstream is guaranteeing that Friday's Rainbow 6 pool will be at least $200,000 if there is just one ticket with the winners of all six Rainbow 6 races.
In that case, Gulfstream would need to put in some money if the combination of the carryover and the day's new Rainbow 6 bet is less than $200,000.
A single ticket winner would take down the Rainbow 6 jackpot--made up of the entire coming-in carryover plus 80 percent of the new Rainbow 6 bet (20 percent takeout).
When there are multiple tickets with six winners, Gulfstream takes out 20 percent of the day's bet and then divides 56 percent among winning tickets and adds 24 percent to the carryover.
The Gulfstream condition book shows two stakes races--both on Saturday.
The $75,000 Benny the Bull Stakes will be seven furlongs on dirt for Florida-breds who are 3-YO and up.
The $60,000 Aventura will be one mile on dirt for 3-YOs.
*Gulfstream's Silks simulcast area is open seven days a week. Information may be obtained by calling the Gulfstream box office at (954) 457-6201.
