After eight months of preparations and ballyhoo, Pegasus day is here at Gulfstream Park.
We are writing at 8:30 a.m., prior to heading to
Gulfstream in Hallandale Beach. Via this blog we will be covering the $12 million Pegasus World Cup
(Grade 1), the day’s other races and the scene at Gulfstream.
The forecast high is 70 degrees, and there is no
chance of rain. Conditions will be fast and firm for the 12-race card that has
first post at 11:30 a.m.
The Pegasus is the 12th race with scheduled post of
5:40 p.m.
