The Opening race of Tampa Bay Downs first Stakes Day belonged to That's a Myth with a winning time of 1:19.30.
The 2-year old showed no hesitation pressing the pace and driving clear toward the end of the race winning by just 1 1/2 lengths and the final odds at 2. Trailing shortly behind after chasing him down was Royal Cassiopeia with odds at 3.5 for second place, and Foxy Flirt finishing in third. The 6 1/2 furlong race for maidens, and 2-year old fillies had a purse of $13,700, and the total WPS pool was $69,354.
