The $100,000 Lightning City is coming up at Tampa Bay Downs.
It is five furlongs on turf for fillies and mares 3-years-old and up, with a deep 12-horse field.
We like the chances of Everything Lovely (5) based in large part on her impressive win n the Ligthning City prep at the same distance at Tampa Bay on Nov. 26.
Southern Ring (8), shipping in from Woodbine, could be the best horse. But five furlongs might be a bit short for her.
Catching Fireflies (10) will be gaining late. She has the hot combo of jockey Daniel Centeno and trainer Arnaud Delacour.
Nite Delite (6) is coming off a win at Laurel. She is trained by Linda Rice and has stakes experience.
Come to Mischief (3) finished third in the Lightning City prep, after being in close at the rail She has a better post this time,
Richies Sweetheart (11) is the wild card. She won this race last year, but is coming off three subpar efforts.
