Last Race Day of the Year at Tampa Bay Downs

We are here on site at Tampa Bay Downs.   It is a clear, sunny but slightly windy day with a high of about 73 degrees today.

The track is fast and the turf is firm.

The opening race of the day was a 6 furlong claiming race that went to Red Hot n' Boom ridden by Ademar Santos.  Red Hot n' Boom finished in 1:12.74 by the neck over Hiram's Mistress. The total Win Place Show came to $66,054.

Up next is the secnod race will be 6 1/2 furlongs on the dirt.  The favorite for this race is That's a Myth who will be ridden by Edwin Gonzalez.
