Tampa Bay Downs is gearing up for its eighth day of racing today at the Oldsmar track.
It's a beautiful day for racing, the sun is shining, it is about 65 degrees, and the weather is projected to be partly cloudy and around the low 70s. Horses are on the track as the first race kicks off shortly at 12:25.
The dirt is clear and ready for the 6 1/2 furlongs race and fans are trickling in for today's festivities. The track is fast and the turf is labeled firm. The live odds favor trainer Dale Bennett's Media Time and right behind him is his father Gerald Bennett's Inaswagger horse with odds at 5-2.
