He stalked the outside, got within three wide, and drew clear taking over I'm the Catman along the upper stretch. He finished 1 3/4 lengths ahead of I'm the Catman, the second place finisher. I'm the Catman was first out of the gate stalked two wide, bid between rivals entering the turn and dug in gamely. Saturday fun finished in third 1 3/4 lengths behind. Jose Ferrer rode Indio Nativo to victory and the trainer is Braulio Lopez.
Two horses were scratched from the 5th race leaving only seven entrants in the maiden claiming 6 1/2 furlong length race. Rockin' Ben and Rahrahrah were both scratched.
The total Win Place Show pool was $426,708 and the charts are as follows:
