Gulfstream Dark This Wednesday; Tampa Bay No Longer Racing on Thursdays

This week, Gulfstream Park will make a one-time change in its schedule and Tampa Bay Downs will make a permanent change to its 2016-2017 schedule.

Gulfstream will not have racing this Wednesday, March 1. Its racing schedule this week will be Thursday through Sunday.

Beginning next week, Gulfstream will return to its regular Wednesday through Sunday schedule for the remainder of its 2016-2017 championship meet that will end April 2. Mondays and Tuesdays will remain dark.

Starting this week, Tampa Bay Downs will not have racing on Thursdays through the remainder of its 2016-2017 meet that will end May 7.

The Oldsmar track will have racing on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

This Wednesday, Tampa Bay will have nine races with first post of 12:25 p.m.

This Thursday, Gulfstream will have eleven races with first post of 12:35 p.m.
