The 4-year old colt set the pace coming out of the gate in third, shook free and clear along the stretch and it was smooth sailing ever since. He was ridden to victory by jockey Scott Spieth for his second win of the meet, and he is trained by Frances Gogas.
The colt was very relaxed down the stretch and passed the finish line in 1:36.06 three lengths ahead of favorite Cite, guided by Daniel Centeno. Cite had to come from behind, worked his way up three wide into the lane and rallied for place. He beat Wagon Boss just by a nose.
