The Gulfstream Park West meet's Friday card is underway with Missworldvenezuela, the 9-5 favorite, beating First Dixie by 1 1/2 lengths in the first race.
The race was a $12,500 claimer at five furlongs on turf for fillies and mares that had never won two races. Missworldvenezuela won it in 57.31 seconds with Tyler Gaffalione riding for trainer Ruben Gracida.

upcoming Gulfstream Park championship meet) almost always has a large field
that presents a handicapping challenge.
Our goal is to provide some extra
insight at the end of a long handicapping day.

$8,000.
