Gettin' Out Alive-- 8th Race at GP West

Today is the first day of our new Gettin’ Out Alive feature.

In it we will handicap and suggest one or two bets on the day’s last race at the Gulfstream Park West meet at Calder. We will shift Gettin’ Out Alive to Gulfstream Park on Dec. 3, when it begins its championship meet.

Today’s race is the eighth at GP West. It is one mile on turf for maidens three-years-old and  up. The purse is  $14,000 and the claiming price is $10,000.

 There are eleven runners, following scratches of Twas Nero (8) and the also eligibles  Hope is Rising (13) and Johnny Cash (14)
