Belladini caught Sur Rae in the final strides and won by a head in Sunday's fifth race at the Gufstream Park West meet.
It was a $50,000 starter allowance, named the Funny Lady, at five furlongs on turf for fillies and mares three-years-old and up.
The GP West meet is at Calder and is being run by Gulfstream Park.
The fifth race was one of eight starter allowances on the Claiming Crown Preview Day.
Gulfstream expects that many of the horses in today's races will run run on Dec. 3 when Gulfstream holds the national Claiming Crown at its track in Hallandale Beach.
