Dancing Cool, the 9-5 favorite, caught Cheri's Win at the wire to win the GP West sixth race and first leg of the Late Pick 5.
The carryover coming in was $13,240. Bettors added $60,348 to the Late Pick 5.
The string of low-odds winners continued in the seventh race--won by D'Kingfish at 2-1.
Three races are left--all with large fields. Curlin's Gem (7) and Stableford (1) look tough in the 8th at six furlongs on dirt.
The ninth and tenth are on turf, and each could have a bomber lurking.
Just before 5 p.m. please go to the home page of our Web site http://www.horseracingfla.com/
and click on the Gettin' Out Alive link in the menu bar at the top. In that feature, we handicap the usually puzzling last race of the day at GP West.
