Everything Lovely Clenches First Place in Feature Race

Four total scratches on today's tenth feature race sure slimmed the chances down somewhat, and of the contenders many fans and spectators placed bets on Giddy Up guided by jockey Angel Cruz hoping he would knock out the favorite Everything Lovely.  

Giddy Up certainly battled through being three wide moving up from 4th to 3rd at the stretch, and was able to gain 2nd. However, he was still short a substantial 4 1/4 lengths behind Everything Lovely, whom's pace was undeniably steady throughout the race. Finishing in third was Come to Mischief just 1 3/4 lengths behind 
Giddy Up.

Everything Lovely clocked in at 55.87 and the total Win Place Show was $139,334.

The four horses scratched were No See Um, Phyllis Ann, She's Coal-Hearted, and Sweet Nkosi taking the 14 horsemen schedule down to 10.
