Late Pick 5 Starts with Win by 28-1 Shot

Major Asset, at 28-1, won the fourth race at GP West to start the Late Pick 5.

That no doubt knocked numerous bettors out  of that exotic bet and out of the Rainbow 6.

The fifth race is six furlongs on dirt for two-year old fillies, and several of the seven runners seem to have potential to move beyond today's $35 OC level.  R Incredible Life, the only horse that was in for a tag, was scratched this morning per order of the track veterinarians.

As reported this morning in Monique Welch's story, there is considerable speed in the race, including the current 2-1 favorite Oh Kandrita (3).  That could help Savanna's Smile (4) who has shown some late run.

We like those two and Little United (1) in an exacta box.
