Diamond Bachelor, the 2-1 favorite, led at every call and won the $75,000 Mr. Steele Stakes at Gulfstream on Saturday.
One race later, Awesome Banner won the $150,000 Foolish Pleasure by a nose after a stakes duel with Mr. Kisses.
