Arthemisa, at 33-1, won the fifth race Sunday at the Gulfstream Park West meet to get the Rainbow 6 off to knockout start.
Beechwood came in second at 22-1 and the even-money favorite Andreya's Reward finished third. There were big payouts, including $490.10 for the $1 exacta.
There will be a Super Hi-5 carryover of $1,506 in the sixth race.
The Rainbow 6 pool coming in was $11,189. Bettors added $21,828--the second biggest Rainbow 6 pool in the meet now in its 13th day.
In the PPs, about the only thing Arthemisa had going for her is that Antonio Sano is the trainer.
We'll be back after taking a "benefit of hindsight" look at how someone could have landed on Arthemisa as a horse in the Rainbow 6.
