Thunder Harbor will seek his third straight Tampa Bay Downs win in today's second at Tampa Bay, a $40,000 optional claimer at six furlongs for 3-YO and up.
He wired the field in his last two starts, both at the $25,000 level, winning in 1:10.0 and 1:10.0. He likely will use the same style today with Ronald Allen Jr. getting the return mount for Gerald Bennett.
Also in the six-horse field is former Tampa stakes runner My Johnny Be Good with Daniel Centeno riding for Eoin Harty.
Trainer Bernell Rhone has Sky and Sea and Chris Mars. Both ran in stakes last year at Canterbury in Minnesota, and are making their first starts since last September.
