There was a single winning ticket on Gulfstream Park's Rainbow 6 on Friday, and it paid $218,456.30.
Going into the day's eighth and final race, it was the only live ticket that had Ansiedad who at 36-1 was the second-highest price in the nine-horse field.
Ansiedad won, resulting in the payout that combined a carryover that had grown over nine race days with 80 percent of the day's bet on the Rainbow 6.
The carryover going into Friday was $156,506. Bettors added $77,467.
The Rainbow 6 is a 20-cent per combination only bet that requires picking winners of each of the last six races.
Late Friday afternoon, Gulfstream reported that the winning ticket cost $600 and was purchased through the Prairie Meadows racetrack in Altoona, Ia.
Gulfstream apparently had not yet learned the identity of the individual or group that bought the ticket.
Gulfstream pays out the full Rainbow 6 pool (carryover plus 80 percent of the day's bet) only if there is just one ticket with all six winners.
On other days, it has the 20 percent takeout.then it divides 56 percent among tickets with the most winners, and puts 24 percent into the carryover.
