Rainbow 6 Starts with DQ Win By Favorite

Robin Team Show (1), the 3-2 favorite, was declared the winner of Sunday's fourth  race at the Gulfstream Park West meet after Law of the Land (7) was disqualified for interference in the stretch.

The race was the start of the Rainbow 6.  Bettors added $91,555 to the Rainbow 6 pool.  The carryover coming in was $66,584.

Law of the Land, on the outside, crossed the finish line first by a half length over Robin Team Show.

However, Robin Team Show's rider Cristian Torres lodged an objection against Law of the Land's jockey Samy Camacho for a bumping incident in deep stretch.

The stewards posted an inquiry, and they determined that the incident likely cost Robyn Team Show the win.

The race was a maiden claimer for 3-YO and up.  It was scheduled for 1 1/16 miles on turf, but moved to that distance on dirt to help the course dry out.

Skies remain clear, and the sixth and eighth races remain on turf as scheduled.
