GP West Resumes Wednesday With Two Carryyovers

 The Gulfstream Park West meet is dark this Monday and Tuesday.

The meet, run at Calder in Miami Gardens, Fla., will resume Wednesday with first post of 12:00 p.m.

On the first race, the Super Hi-5, will have am carryover of $1,770.

The carryover on the Rainbow 6 is $20,977. The 20 cents per combination-only bet is on races three to eight with the sequence scheduled to start at 1:10 p.m.

Wednesday will be the third day of the GP West meet.

The GP West meet is closed to spectators and does not have any live betting on site.

At its track in Hallandale Beach, Gulfstream has its north tent area open on GP West race days for simulcast betting on those races and on other tracks that are part of its regular simulcast menu.

Betting on Gulfstream West races may be done on most Advance Deposit Wagering (ADW) Internet and phone services. Many sports books, race tracks and OTB offices have simulcasting on GP West races.

Tampa Bay Downs, Hialeah Park and Pompano Park are among Florida pari-mutuels that carry the GP West simulcast schedule.

GP West races are streamed on Gulfstream's Web site https://www.gulfstreampark.com/.

Among ADWs that carry GP West are Xpressbet.com, 1st/BET.com, Twinspires.com, drfbets.com and tvg.com. The first two are owned by The Stronach Group, the parent company of Gulfstream.
