GP West: First and Fourth Races Taken Off the Turf

Gulfstream Park West has moved Sunday's first and fourth races from the turf to the dirt track, which is listed as Fast.

As of 11:40 a.m. the sixth and eighth races remain scheduled for the turf, which is listed as Good.

There were periods of rain this morning at and around Calder in Miami Gardens, the site of the GP West meet.

First post is 12:00 p.m. for the nine-race Sunday card.

The carryover on the Rainbow 6 is $66,584.  The 20 cents per combination-only bet is on races four o nine with the sequence scheduled to start at 1:44 p.m.

*GP West will have a special nine-race Columbus Day card on Monday, with first post at 12:00 p.m.
