According to Gulfstream Park officials, Tyler Gaffalione is not riding on Thursday because of a family issue.
We'll leave it at that, and join everyone else in hoping that all goes well and that he will soon return to riding at Gulfstream.
Heading into Thursday's card Gaffalione
has 34 wins, for a substantial lead in the jockey standings through 16
days of the summer meet. Emisael Jaramillo is second with 18 wins,
followed by Luca Panici with 15.
