Tyler Gaffalione rode four winners
at Gulfstream Park on Friday, adding to his lead in the standings at the
track’s summer meet.
Through 14 days, Gaffalione has 30
wins in 88 mounts.
Luca Panici and Emisael Jaramillo
have 15 and 14 wins, respectively, and are second and third in the standings.
The 60-day summer meet extends
through Oct. 1.
Gaffalione’s four wins were on a day
when he had eight mounts. The winners ($2
win prices in parentheses) and their trainers were:

Gaffalione has 13 wins in the last
four Gulfstream racing days.
He has ten mounts on Saturday’s
12-race card and four mounts on Sunday’s nine-race card.
Gaffalione, a 21-year-old Davie,
Fla., native, led in wins at Gulfstream’s 2015 summer meet when he was still a
five-pound apprentice. He later was voted the winner of the Eclipse Award as
North America’s top apprentice jockey in 2015.
