Scarlett O'Mara won the 11th and final race at Gulfstream on Sunday setting up a carryover of $130,147.41 in the Rainbow 6 when racing resumes on Thursday.
First post is 1:15 p.m. for the nine-race card. The Rainbow 6 is on races four through nine
The Rainbow 6 carryover continues because Sunday was the tenth straight race day without the carryover/jackpot requirement of just one ticket with the winners of all six Rainbow 6 races.
Going into Sunday's eleventh and final race there were three live tickets, each with just one live horse--and none with 4-5 favorite Scarlett O'Mara.
The live horses were Starship Carnegie, Starship Sheba and Ballado Book. They came in third, ninth and tenth respectively in the eleven-horse field.
If any had won, a single ticket holder would have taken down a jackpot of about $175,000.
Instead, Scarlett O'Mara's win left no tickets with all six Rainbow 6 winning horses.
There were 71 tickets with five winners, including Scarlett O'Mara. Each received $625.26.
The carryover coming in was $111,233.84. Bettors wagered $78,811 on the Rainbow 6.
Gulfstream took out 20 percent of the day's Rainbow 6 bet. It divided 56 percent among tickets with five winners and put 24 percent into the carryover.
The rare five-of-six payoff came on a day with two long shot winners. Key Agent won the seventh race at 36-1 and Reagan's Odyssey won the ninth race at 15-1.
The other four winners, including Scarlett O'Mara, were 7-2 or lower.
