There was one ticket with all six winners in the Rainbow 6 at Gulfstream Park on Thursday and it paid $32,664.10.
Gulfstream reported that the ticket was purchased on Xpressbet, the Advance Deposit Wagering company owned and operated by Gulfstream's parent The Stronach Group.
Gulfstream will begin a new Rainbow 6 pool on Friday, on races three through eight. First post is 1:15 p.m. for the eight-race card.
Coming into Thursday the Rainbow 6 carryover was $7,443.
Bettors added $31,554 to the pool. Gulfstream took out 20 percent of the day's bet. It added the rest to the carryover to pay the winning ticket holder.
There were three live tickets going into the eighth and final race.
Senor Casanova, at 3-1, won the race. Neither of the other two live tickets had that horse.
None of the six Rainbow 6 winners were favorites, and none were higher than 7-1. Thus, it was a rare day when the Rainbow 6 was '"hit" without a long shot in the sequence.
The Rainbow 6 is a 20-cent only per combination bet with multiple horses permitted in each leg.
Gulfstream pays out the day's Rainbow 6 pool (minus 20 percent takeout) plus the carryover only on days when there is just one ticket with all six winners.
On other days it divides 56 percent of the day's bet among the multiple winning tickets and adds 24 percent to the carryover.
Also on Thursday, there were multiple winning tickets on the Late Pick 5. The payoff was $4,061.90 for the minimum 50 cent bet.
