Indian Guide took the lead entering the stretch and pulled away to win by 4 1/4 lengths in Sunday's sixth and feature race at Gulfstream Park.
The win was Indian Guide's fourth in five starts at Gulfstream this year. All of those races were on the turf.
Amigo, the 6-5 favorite, rallied to finish second in the $25,000 optional claiming race with a $43,000 purse.
Verger, at 20-1, finished third--another half length back in the eight-horse field.
Indian Guide, at 2-1, won in 1:40.73 on the course listed as firm.
Matthew Rispoli rode Indian Guide for owner Frank Carl Calabrese and trainer Angel Rodriguez.
Indian Guide, a 5-year-old gelding, is a son of Cowboy Cal.
