Races are Off the Turf at Gulfstream

With the wet surface that followed rain, Gulfstream has moved all of  today's scheduled-for-turf  races to dirt track that is  listed as sloppy.

That began with the third race and will continue with the fourth, sixth, seventh and eighth races.

Sweet Mary, at 3-5, won the 1 1/16 mile third race. It was a $12,500 claimer for fillies and mares 3-YO and  up.
 
The race was the start of the Rainbow 6. Bettors added $27,594 to the pool. The carryover coming in was $29,623.
