Christian Navarro, a five-pound apprentice, rode the winners in both races in the late double at Gulfstream Park on Friday.
Navarro was on Concealedwithakiss, at 9-2, for trainer Luis Duco in the seventh race. He rode Bears Reflection, the 2-1 favorite, for trainer Ramon Morales in the eighth race.
Navarro has six wins in 44 mounts for the Gulfstream spring meet.
His two victories closed out the Rainbow 6 that paid $4,656 for a 20-cent bet, to each of the three tickets with winners of all of the last six races.
Bettors put $24,950 into a new Rainbow 6 pool, following Thursday when the carryover/jackpot was taken by a single winning ticket that paid $32,664.10.
On Saturday there will be a carryover of $5,987, on races six through 11. First post is 1:15 p.m. for the 11-race card.
