GP Rainbow 6 Starts With Win by 14-1 Shot

The Rainbow 6 for Friday is underway at Gulfstream with 13-1 shot Little Nappy winning the first leg.

In the day's third race, Little Nappy held off the  late-running Skinflint by a nose in the $55,000 maiden special weight for 2-year-olds.

Little Nappy won the 4 1/2 furlong  dirt race in 52.62  seconds on the track listed as  fast.

Eder Martinez rode Little Nappy for trainer Carlo Vaccarezza and owner Little Dreams Racing of which Vaccarezza is managing partner.

Eddie Castro rode Skinflint  for trainer Dane Kobiskie and owner PTK LLC.

Bettors added $55,034 to the Rainbow 6.  The carryover  coming in was $100,004.
