Tampa Bay Downs on Friday will not have a Super Hi-5 carryover until the third race which has a scheduled post of 2:48 p.m,
That carryover is $12,048.
It was scheduled for the first race. But the field was reduced to six horses after Bold as a Lion (2) was scratched by order of the stewards.
Tampa Bay requires at least seven starters to offer the Rainbow 6.
The second race has just six entrants.
The third race has seven entrants, and will have the Super Hi-5 barring any late scratches.
That race is a $6,250 claimer with a $12,700 purse. It is six furlongs on dirt for 4-year-olds and up.
The Super Hi-5 is a $1 minimum bet with an 18 percent takeout. It requires picking thefirst five finishers in correct order, with no consolation payouts such as four of five places.
If there are no winning tickets, 18 percent of the new bet plus the entire carryover are carried over to the next race with the Super Hi-5.
