The Tropical Turf Stakes and Marshua’s River Stakes are Grade III stakes races. The former is for Four Year olds and up, one mile on the turf. The latter is for fillies and mares 4 year and up, and run on the dirt for 1-1/16 miles.
In Friday’s action, 5 favorite odds horses won – 4 on the turf – and thus muted the late payouts.
The late pick-4 paid $111.60, the late pick-5 paid $879.00 while the Rainbow 6 paid $995.

Fifty-one starters competed in the Rainbow 6, with two favorites winning their legs, and a higher odds 6:1 in race 6 winning. An estimated 36 race fans cashed that wager.
The sole carryover for Saturday will be the Rainbow 6 at $30,602.
