Super High-Five Pays $352.90 in Third at Tampa

The carried-over Super High 5  was hit on an undetermined number of tickets in the third race on Friday at Tampa Bay Downs.

It paid $705.90 on the minimum $1 bet.

The winning combination was 6-7-5-2-1.

The carryover coming in was $12,048.

Bettors added $40,218 to the pool. We had projected that betting would be $30,000 or more on the Super High-5.

Simply Great won the third  race at 5-2.  Miss Krivorchuka finished second, at 7-2, in the seven-horse field.

The race was six furlongs on dirt for fillies and mares 4-years-old and up, with  a $12,700 purse and a $6,250 claiming price.
