Gulfstream Park has a ten-race card
on Sunday, with first post of 12:50 p.m.
There is a Rainbow 6 carryover of
$8,012. It is on races five to ten.
On the first
race, there is a carryover of $3,577.50 on the Super Hi-5—which requires
picking the first five finishers in correct order. There were no winners on
that bet in Saturday’s 13th and final race, thus producing the
overnight carryover.
Gulfstream also will have eleven races
on Monday, Labor Day, with first post of 12:50 p.m.
On Saturday, Gulfstream had six
stakes races. That included the four second legs of the Florida Sire Stakes
Series.
In those races, the 2-year-old colt Three Rules and the 2-year-old filly Caijun Delta Dawn each posted a victory that raised their records to four wins in
four career starts.
The four Sire Stakes races on
Saturday were all seven furlongs on dirt.
The races and winners were:
*Two-year-old males: $300,000 Affirmed – won by Three Rules
*Two-year-old males: $300,000 Affirmed – won by Three Rules
*Two-year-old fillies: $300,000

The third and final races in this
year’s Sire Stakes divisions will be run
at Gulfstream on Oct. 1—all at 1 1/16 miles on dirt.
Later this weekend, we will have
articles with more details on Saturday’s Sire Stakes races.
