Fire on Fire, at 7-1, beat the late-running 6-5 favorite Whisper Onthe Wind by 1 1/2 lengths in Sunday's ninth and feature race.
A light rain began falling at the start of the 1 1/16 mile turf allowance/optional claimer for three-year-olds and up.
Fire on Fire won in 1:42.05, with Cornelio Velasquez riding for trainer/owner Reid Nagle.
Gulfstream has two races left on the card. We will be back to look at the Rainbow 6 and Late Pick 5.
