Top Billing, a horse that was one of 2014's early favorites for the Kentucky Derby, will run in this afternoon's tenth race at Gulfstream.
It is one mile on dirt--a $62,500 optional claimer with a $46,000 purse.
It will be Top Billing's first race since last Aug. 22 when he finished ninth and last at one mile on turf in an allowance at Saratoga.
Top Billing finished third in the Fountain of Youth (Grade 2) at Gulfstream on Feb. 22, 2014. Since then he has raced only five times, without a win, due to injuries,
We'll be back shortly to preview the 10th race along with the 11th, Spectacular Bid, and 12th race, Inside Information (Grade 2).
