Gulfstream Today: Three Graded Stakes; Carryover Nears $2.4 Million

The $500,000 Gulfstream Park Handicap (Grade 2) at  one  mile on dirt is one of  three graded stakes races at Gulfstream Park today.

First post is 12:00 p.m. for the 13 race card.

We will have on-site coverage on this blog.

Valid, Itsaknockout and Stanford are likely favorites in the seven-horse Gulfstream Park Handicap field. The race is for 4-year-olds and up.

The other graded stakes are on turf.

The $200,000 MacDiarmida (Grade 2) is 1 3/8 miles for males 4-YO and up. The $150,000 The Very One is 1 3/16 miles on turf for fillies and mares 4-YO and up.

There is a carryover of $2,371,075 on the Rainbow 6 on the day’s last six races.
