Thursday, Oct. 15 - Tomorrow's featured third race at Gulfstream Park West is a $62,500 optional claimer with a $40,000 purse. But it has the look of a $75,000 stakes.
It is one mile on turf for 3-YOs and up. The eight-horse field has the recent Gulfstream stakes-placed runners Good and Proper, Rompin' Reid and Dreams Cut Short. Back class is added by Gala Award, winner of last year's Palm Beach (Grade 3) on turf for 3-YOs at Gulfstream.
