In the Distaff, we thought Stopchargingmaria should have been taken down and Stellar Wind made the winner,
The order of finish was: Stopchargingmaria; Stellar Wind; Curalina and Sheer Drama. All but Stellar Wind have raced at Gulfstream.
* In the Juvenile Fillies Turf, Gulfstream horse Andrerya's Reward faded to finish last. Look for her to come back strong when the water is not as deep.
* In the Dirt Mile, the finish was Liam's Map; Lea, Red Vine, Wicked Strong and Valid. All but Red Vine have raced at Gulfstream.
We'll be back tomorrow morning with previews of the two stakes at Gulfstream Park West (Calder) and of Florida aspects of tomorrow's Breeders' Cup races.
The GP West stakes are:
*Showing Up--$75,000, one mile on turf, 3-YO males
*Cellars Shiraz--$75,000, one mile on turf; 3-YO fillies
