Little Mike Fifth in Return as Gentlmens Agreement Wins

Gentlmens  Agrement took the lead from high-profile Little Mike entering the final turn and powered ahead to beat Rizwan by a length in Sunday's seventh and feature race at Gulfstream Park.

It was an allowance/optional claimer  at 1 1/16 miles on turf.

Little Mike faded to fifth in the six-horse field.  It was  his first race since May 17, 2014, when he won the 1 1/16 mile Flying Pidgeon Stakes on the turf at  Gulfstream.

Since then, he has been sidelined with tendonitis and suspensory issues.

The nine-year-old gelding's record includes four Grade 1 turf victories--topped by the 2012 Breeders' Cup Turf.

Gentlmens Agrement, the 5-2 second betting choice, won in 1:41.83 on the  course listed as firm.  Luca Panici rode for trainer for Leo Gabriel Jr.

Little  Mike, the 4-5 favorite, is trained and was bred by Carlo Vaccarezza.
